If you are at Chinatown and feel overwhelming by all different kinds of food, why not have a taste of heritage with Westlake the stall located at OG Building I bought the Chee Cheong Fun which is my all-time favourite and indeed it did not disappoint me. Not only the sauce is special and different from the normal chee cheong fun i have tried at those coffee shops. The chee cheong fun tasted so soft and different! In fact, it wow-ed me. Within minutes, i finished up my $2 Chee Cheong Fun and headed to other places with my satisfying stomach. continue reading

I was shopping with my mum at Chinatown People's Park to buy or daily stuffs. My wife asked me to go OG that she wanted to buy some new bedding. While we are going up to the bedding department, i told my wife that i am abit hungry and we saw the Westlake cafe and order a plate of Zhu Chang Feng to share and also each of us a Kong Ba Bao.Overall, we think the food taste okie and feel that the price abit expensive. After the food, we went buy our bedding stuff and my wife bought 2 new bedding set. continue reading

Westlake signature dish is Braised Pork with Pau. The meat is tender with the black sauce and the soft Pau together. My hubby like to eat Braised Pork. So whenever i passby Westlake stall, i will buy some of it, and eat during supper or breakfast. Since the meat is oily, usually i will drink tea after eating. continue reading
