The pie shop used to be located in Jalan Besar area. A few months ago, it relocated to Upper Thomson area. Currently it is located at the end of a row of shophouses. Pistachio frangipane, apricot chunks, poached pear flan and cinnamon streusel.
The pistachio frangipane is moist with hint of pistachio in it. The poached pear is not bad although I would perfer it to be softer with a melt in the mouth texture. The cinnamon flavour here is barely there.
Crafted exclusively for Camp Symmetry 2013, this pie is filled with white chocolate ganache, topped with white truffle infused cookie streusel and finished with candied thyme and a meringue mushroom!
The mushroom is so cute but does not taste too sweet. The thyme is a candy to me. It is a very rich pie without been too sweet. I like the truffle infused cookie streusel which really has the truffle taste and one usually assoicate it with savoury food.
The small cup of hot chocolate comes with latte art on top. It is rich and thick.
