Went for lunch today with my cousin, we ordered the squid ink pasta & calamari rings, which were fine. As for the chicken baked rice, it was worst baked rice I've ever had. The chicken was a little raw & had a weird flavor to it. I regretted ordering this dish. I took a few mouthfuls of the rice and decided to stop eating. All in all, my first visit will definitely be my last as well. Service was not that bad, but food wise, really poor. They better buck up and improve the food quality! I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone & it was an utter disappointment. I really regretted dining there & overall i would give their food a rating of 3/10. continue reading

Enjoyed spending my relaxed time in a decorative café, it was definitely a great place to chill out with friend or a date. With A Pinch Of Salt was a brightly attractive café, cartoon little girl appeared everywhere. Browsing their dessert page on Menu, I was surprised to know they had a numerous of choices such as Coffee, Teas, Smoothies, Shakes, Floats and Beers. Presentation was quite dull, only black and white. Rich chocolate aroma, it melted once putting into my mouth. The ice-cream was floating on top, milky smooth in texture. Take my time to finish up the whole, the portion was certainly sufficient. $4.90 for the dessert, my friend said it was too expensive to consume but not for me. continue reading

Usually they are closed on Monday. When we stepped in, we were greeted by the waiter and given the menu. The service was quite slow, I guess they have a change of management. Food with a little change, no more jar of ice water given, no Wifi but it was shown in their website and on their wall has free wifi too. No big bottle of chilli and tomato ketchup, there were only chilli packets available. Each table has about 4 packets (2 each of chilli and tomato ketchup). Food wise standard is still maintained but service standard dropped quite a bit! I had Fish & Chip ($8.90) and top up $3.50 for with soup or salad, drink and dessert of the day (always ice cream). Overall still okay just that service standard no longer there but everything still remained the same, such as the decoration and furniture. continue reading

We were invited to Baby Nat's birthday. It was western butler served birthday party, i chose the grilled dory as my main course and Benchose the Spring Chicken. Both our main courses were good and we also tried their dessert which was Cream Bulee. This is a nice laidback restaurant, great for families and friends. A must try and a restaurant I will definitely come back to. continue reading

This is a cute cosy restaurant with its decorations. The food is passable but for its price, I guess it's expected. I ordered the baked chicken thigh. It was quite a fatty piece and it seemed slightly overbaked because the chicken was a little too tough. The sauce was so-so, with the mushroom taste somewhat diluted. The fries is normal; not too crunch nor too soggy. But water is charged at 30 cents per cup. What a ripoff. Restaurants that attempt to do this are just plainly profiteering given that Singapore water is safe to drink, especially when it comes to cold water without further need for boiling. continue reading
