mango ice shavedXin Wang has a section on Snow Ice Series in its menu..!! I had the mango snow ice and the first few mouths were really good. The mango was quite sweet and there were many juicy mango cubes chunks in it! However, the ice cream melted quite fast - maybe it was meant to melt and mix into the ice? And trying to finish the entire bowl was a very difficult task. continue reading

It was a pouring rain afternoon, and I reckon a cup of tea would be nice. I head down to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe with colleague as their signature milk tea is my all-time favourite. The milk tea is silkily smooth, and very rich in tea aroma too. We also ordered some toasts to share. The bread is nicely toasted, leaving a slight crispiness at the outside. The thick layer of kaya and butter filling is just awesome! I reckon they can do better toast than Ya Kun by far. Colleague ordered the mango dessert with pamelo and sago. The mango flavour is so rich and the icy cold mango ice-cream in the center is such a bonus to the already tasty dessert! Thumbs up. continue reading

I met up with my friends at xin wang at anchorpoint for a gathering. As I had the ikea meatball before, I was not too hungry so I opted for just a drink. I ordered their iced milk tea. It came in a tin container, very cute. It got this traditional feel. The milk tea was really good, very smooth and does not leave any after taste in our mouth. It is very milky and the tea is not too sweet as well. Really refreshing. continue reading

I went shopping with my girlfriend at ikea, as usual the queue for the ikea restaurant is really long so we headed to xin wang café at anchorpoint for lunch. I ordered their fried rice with minced meat. The portion was quite big. The amount of rice the piled on a plate is really a lot. there was a sunny side up on top of the rice. the minced meat was cooked in spicy sauce. it was not too salty and very tasty. I strongly recommend this dish, very value for money! continue reading

My boyfriend and i went there to have our dinner, the serving was rather big, i couldn't finish mine as usual. well.. and we ordered mango ice coz it was something really special i guess.. and i love it. some how it's way too big for 2 of us to finish it was kinda waste. and ended up we played with it, and dig hole on the "ice mountain". it was really filling and went we about to go, the waitress asked us do we want to tapao, and so we did. we bought home that mango ice. (X we really had a good time there.. will patronize again and maybe somewhere nearer to the east (: continue reading
