Lychee Yuzu Tea was great for quenching my thirst after my work.

I enjoyed the choice of main course coupled with soup and ice cream. However, their service in overall is below average. The waiting part is a drag because no one able to serve my desserts.

After that, one waitress came to serve minty mint ice cream instead of Marshmallow. I immediately felt disappointed with its lacklustre standard of desserts because it was a different set from the original menu.

Conclusion: It is a nice place to chill out with friends and excellent food, but slow service even though there are not many people here...

Overall it was quite tasty but the beef in both dishes is a little hard, not too sure if it's a little overcooked.
Lastly we ate the peanut butter and condensed milk thick toast and was nice.
The dinner experience here is good considering that the time taken to serve the dish is quite fast and the taste was alright too and the hor fun is to my liking ( apart from the beef).

A plus point to dining here is that you get to enjoy the wifi here.

In total we spent abot $30+ for dinner.

Cheese Baked Rice with Fish

This was good, served with a generous amount of cheese and fish. I didn't quite like the rice though, so I finished all the ingredients and cheese, but left the rice alone. It wasn't too much of a problem for me because even without the rice, the dish itself was already quite filling.

I finished my meal with a good warm Yuan Yang. I think this drink is most praise-worthy here because nobody else does a better job at preparing this drink than Xin Wang. The coffee and tea mixture was well-balanced and fragrant. Whether served iced cold or warm, this is my standard drink whenever I visit this restaurant.

Headed over to XINWANG for some dessert and I ordered the Fresh Toast with Chicken Floss. This huge fresh toast caught me with surprise because I wasn't expecting such a big plate of fresh toast at only $4.90. Topped with mayonnaise and lots and lots of chicken floss, it was also served piping hot. This is also when you should tuck in immediately because the fresh toast taste even better when it's hot and fresh from the oven.

2 weeks ago... i met with one of my frenz... at Plaza Singapura to meet for tea. Instead of the normal starbucks of coffee bean, i decided to head over to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe and my oh my i was quite happy... This was because many years ago i went over to the one at North Point and remember them serving tea in an aluminum container and i liked that nostalgic feeling drinking from there... However like most restaurants i have a problem with their serving... seriously 70% ice and yea my answer to that is like (i cant use colorful language) so il just say What the fruit?

Ok then we ordered fries with the curry and mayo sauce... I would say one thing... It is nice but please leave curry to the experts... It was quite ok... Pass according to my indian fren...

We also had french toast... soaked in honey and sugar this sweet thing will guarantee you a trip to the dentist without hesitation. It was toooooooooooo awessssoooommeeeee....

Put all this together and you will be a crazed maniac...

Spent $10 each for this sumptuous tea

I ordered Luncheon Noodle @S$7.50 which I think totally not worth it. The noodle texture is hard to chew. So is the luncheon meat.Totally hard to chew. I ended up leaving the plate unfinished. Totally wasted.

My friend ordered Beef Sauteed Hor Fun @S$9.90. Totally disappointing taste! There is no wok taste and the sauce doesn’t even blend well with the hor fun. Tasteless I would say. However, the portion is quite generous though.

Overall the food is quite disappointing for us. We don’t really enjoyed it and I personally think the price paid is not worth for it. However, the staff service is quite friendly. The old lady served us with a smile. Total bill was S$31.54 inclusive the above mentioned items and 1 Kopi ‘Xi” @S$1.00 and 10% Service Charge + 7% GST.

We were in the area to catch a movie. Everywhere else is so crowded at dinner time so we decided the one with the shortest queue line at Xin Wang.ordered the usual favourite Chicken chop ShangHai Fried Rice, consistency is there and same as the other branch we often frequent. This is important for us because as Singaporeans it's always important to have "options" be it better or just as good. Fragrant fried rice with the olives and egg etc together with tender juicy chicken chop with the flavourful coating of sauce. even the tomato is fresh.

Fish And Chips was alright, wished the portion was abit bigger. The presentation is neat.

Then we redeemed the Birthday Platter , what a pretty spread! curry dipping, sotong balls, cracker spring rolls otah and hash browns!

Dessert! Here it comes...The Mango Sago & Pomelo Cream. When the cafe's staff placed the dessert on the table, it was really a ooo-wow! Look at it, a nice sized bowl serving such a tempting looking dessert. Most important ...how does it taste? The pomleo toppings on the vanilla ice-cream ball which sits coolly on the Chilled Mango Cream. More treasures...the mango cubes and scooping into the Mango Cream, more surprises, transparent pearls. It is a wonderful dessert, well balanced in taste. The portion really makes a dessert lover leaving the restaurant feeling very satisfied indeed! $5.80 per serving.

Butter Pineapple Bo Lo Bun. This is one of the items on my "Must Order" list. We can find Bo Lo Buns at many pastry shops but what I like about this Bo Lo Bun here is that, there is a piece of juicy pineapple inside it. On top of the pineapple is a thick slice of butter. The Bo Lo Bun is baked to a golden brown and is crispy. When served hot, the butter melts slowly and goes into the pineapple and the bun, making every bite a joy! $2.50 per bun.

I still would try this again because of the good value, but surely the taste of this dessert can be improved.

This place serves one of the best seafood fried rice! Not only is the portion is huge, it is tasty and the chef is very generous with the ingredients (sotong, fish and prawns). Super value for money! Highly recommend one to try it. If you have a Standard Chartered Card, you can get a free seafood paste strips (as shown in the 1st picture) when you spent more than $30. Honestly, I feel that this foc side dish is not something to wow about as the strips are kinda tiny and oily.
