This place is always filled with people who just book out from Tekong! I was at Pasir Ris the other day and I haven't had dinner. It was 10pm and most of the restaurants has already closed. Thank god Xin Wang opens till 2am everyday! I had their curry chicken noodles, which is really yummy! the curry is thick and rich. The noodles are quite chewy too. Curry chicken is very well flavored and the meat is tender the curry potato isn't too hard nor soft. Overall I like this dish a lot. Value for money

I was looking to take away something for lunch and decided on Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. After looking through the menu, I decided on the fish baked rice, which costs $10.90. It didn't take too long for them to prepare my order even though it was quite filled with people. The portion looks small but is actually extremely filling, I could only finish half of it. I didn't really like the fish, which is your typical frozen dory. They basically placed the fish on top of the rice and added tomato sauce

Wouldn't recommend it unless you really like tomato sauce and soft, lumpy, fish.

I was looking for something to eat and this branch of hong kong cafe opens till late (2am on weekends), so I decided to drop by. I had the common noodles with fried fish slices and egg - it tastes like you typical maggie mee, and the fried fish was not flavourful and a little bland. $9.50 is a little too expensive for a dish like that. Not to forget that they do not serve water (have to pay 60cents), so I ordered the grass jelly at $2.90.

I ordered Cheese Baked Rice with Pork Chop as I think this dish should not go wrong with any Hong Kong restaurant. Fortunately, the baked rice didn't disappoint and the pork chop's texture was just right, not too tough.

It is served with fresh, sweet mangoes and the ice is quite fine. For those who likes the food here can sign up for their membership as well. As it was my birthday month, we were offered a free platter of goodies (finger food basically). I like the food here as the portions are pretty big and value for money in comparison with other restaurants.

I decided to order rice which was served with achar, spinach with mushrooms aswell as spring rolls! The serving of spinach with mushrooms was huge! enough for 3-4 people probably. The spinach was well cooked and I really liked the gravy it came with (was seasoned with soya sauce aswell).

The vegetable curry was served piping hot and there was a generous amount of vegetables in the dish and they even included tofu this time round (which is definitely a new addition). It gave the curry alot of bulk and the coconut base was really delicious that it could be eaten on its own.

Another favorite of mine at this place are the spring rolls! though they are served a little oily, I like how its stuffed with a lot of filling. Its crispy on the outside and a burst of flavor on the inside. Perfect for a snack!

We also ordered coconut juice which was topped off with coconut ice cream! this is a rare find. I must say its slightly pricy but it came in a huge cup and we didnt need seconds with regard to the drinks even when we were gulping down so much food.

I also had a tofu side which tasted pretty plain to me. Almost seemed like it was deep fried tofu with achar -.-'' my friend ordered chicken drumlets which seemed to be alright. Overall, it was alright.

Simple dish made up of magee noodle, luncheon meat and a sunny side up. I had it dry and it was in fact too dry for my liking. As for the taste, it was fine. A little sweet and a little salty. All in all, the mixture was great!

The chef was thoughtful enough to place the luncheon meat on a separate plate instead of soaking it into the soup. The hot honey lemon tea is soothing for the throat and it is neither too sweet nor sour, tasted just nice! Overall, simple food with reasonable price! (:
