Xin Wang is great if you looking for something cheap and simple. Dont expect great impressive food from here, but it's still acceptable for a simple meal.Sambal Fried Rice ($9.90)I'm actually quite impressed with the Sambal Fried Rice from Xin Wang. It's tasty and the portion is big. The ingredients are minimal, with only some prawns, eggs and Ikan Bilis, but it's tasty & satisfying nonetheless.Fermented Pork Ramen ($9.90)After my 2nd visit to Xin Wang, I have learnt my lesson to never order their noodles. Same as my previous experience at their restaurants, their noodles are over-cooked, soggy and just plain tasteless. Definitely a waste of money & food.Chicken Feet ($4.90)Their Chicken Feet is quite tasty, all the right flavours are there, just that the texture is a little rubbery.Overall it's an okay experience, but I have learnt my lesson to never order noodles at Xin Wang cafes. continue reading

Back again at Xin Wang Cafe for lunch. Deep Fried Tofu with thai chilli sauce - The outer layer was crispy but the inner was soft and juicy. Prepared in bite size, the tofu goes really well with the shredded cucumber and the sweet thai chilli sauce. Cheesed baked black pepper spaghetti- The top layer of the cheese was baked till abit crispy but the inner was still soft and milky! continue reading

This curry chicken noodles here is one of my favourite choice of dishes when I happen to visit this cafe. The curry gravy is thick and slightly spicy. The chicken meat is very fragrant and tender, which suit really well with the curry gravy. The noodles are chewy and not too soggy. The presentation is also not too bad and the price is consider quite affordable and definitely I will be back for more next time. continue reading

the photo shown above is the beef slices kueh teow. it is very delicious but it is slightly too oily. i would order it again with lesser oil version. the beef slices are soft and fresh. the bean sprout is fresh and fried adequately too. would recommend this for friends and family!. great to share it with your friends or family too! good to try! continue reading

Xin Wang - Looks promising, but I find the food so-so.Went there a few months ago with my friends, ate the pork chop & papaya soup with noodles. Tasted pretty decent, however, I'm feeling a little disgusted that they used "maggi noodles" instead of any other type of noodles which somehow cheapens the entire dish. The rest are ok, I wouldn't say that they tasted fabulous, but just made the mark. continue reading
