The century egg porridge is really good ! it is not very salty and also very comforting . The century egg really adds a lot of flavour into the porridge and also the pork doesnt have a lot of fats when you bite into it and that is always a plus  It is very nice and YOU MUST ADD THE EGG IN because it is really nice and it really adds up to the pirridge and it is really comforting and nice for a hearty breakfast

There was various type of porridge can be found in Singapore. Porridge maybe plain yet must not be tasteless. Easy to digest, it was suitable for elderly and little child.Moist and Smooth, it was laborious to be cooked I guessed. Smell was great, pure like mum-cooking at home. Minced pork and sliced ginger inside, the taste was naturally savoury. They used their own recipe to boil the Congee, diluted yet salty. They used their own recipe to boil the Congee, diluted yet salty. I had mine with some pepper and soy sauce, it became better for the whole. Silky and fulfilling, it was what my breakfast done. Nothing luxury as a result congee was normally sold at a very low price. $2.00 for my Congee, it was inexpensive.

This elusive stall was closed each time I wanna patronise it, and opened when I dun! And this morning, I FINALLY caught it open and I was in a "porridge" mood! Yay! My SOP - Century Egg Porridge! If this is good, other types of porridge will be worth a try! So, what did I get? Well, I must say the 1st look of it almost got me started on a disappointment track, but after mixing in the fried shallots and stuff...hey, everything blended really well and tasted great! No need to add further sauce

No need to add further sauce or pepper at all! I found me a decent breakfast!
Only regret - I forgotten to add an egg!!! Haiz!!

Total Cost:
Century Egg Porridge - $2.50/ $3

I was craving for porridge and decided to try the porridge at Xi Ji Zou Ping. I ordered the pork porridge takeaway which costs around $3 for a bowl. It tasted quite well as the porridge was neither too watery nor salty. The price seems reasonable, but could be better if cheaper given the small portion.
