I ordered Toast Cheese with Kaya. When the bread was served to me, the bread was warm and the cheese was not fully melted. If the bread is well toasted and with the heat, add the slice of cheese, I would think the aroma and taste of the cheese will be greatly enhanced. It can be considered was a mini pizza. Anyway, the toast served to me was still alright but it was my expectation was not met to 100%.

Always been having their signature coffee and toast breads here, and this is my first time buying their new product: Kaya butter cookies here. For merely $2.50 per packet, the price is reasonable and the packaging looks neat and attractive. The counter lady is very friendly and greeted me 'good-bye' when I leave the shop. The cookies is full of the butter flavour and is very crunchy and firm in texture. With the little portion of their signature kaya filling in the center of every pieces tas

Don't know how the soft-boiled eggs can be cooked to such perfection but they are each time I order them. Looking at the tables of the people around me, I guess Ya Kun has perfected its art of egg-boiling. I have my soft-boiled eggs with a cup of coffee C (Coffee with carnation milk to the uninitiated) and it makes for a good afternoon break. Thick and aromatic, that's how coffee should be.

Tea was nice, egg was normal, but the peanut kaya was a bit weird, not a good combination . I prefer butter kaya more. Service was not very good as they won't auto clean the table. Also we were dining in but the bread was packed inside a paper bag instead of being served on a plate.

the coffee here is alright. not too bad. not too acidic and not too bitter. nice on a cold raining day. the service is rather slow and disorganised and you basically have to self-service or wait a long time for your food. goes well with their toast. don't really fancy any of their other stuff as it's not very up to standard. but their coffee and toast are passable. their eggs are pretty good too. more expensive than other places but the quality is not better than other places.

The Ya Kun outlet here is in the heart of orchard, but it's relatively less crowded here. Maybe not many people seem to know about its existence, or probably too lazy to go up to the fifth floor. So it's a nice place away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard. I had the Frostyz coffee, a cold, refreshing drink for the hot weather. It is Ya Kun's answer to popular ice blended coffee drinks sold in other coffee chains. It has a strong local coffee flavour and I think they added some milo powder to

Having a cup of coffee and a toast here is really a different feeling compare to those usual Ya Kun's outlets. I suppose not many people are aware of this place for it's a good hide out away from the noise and the busy shoppers. This place is really serene and they have seats that are liked couches and good for lying back and sipping coffee away. The standard of food and coffee is the same as those other outlets. Also there is a window view of the neon lights beaming outside and overlooking the busy Orchard Rd below.Be it going there in the noon or evening, relying on the sunshine from the window or the neon lights, each has a different mood.
