Mee Siam usually can bee found in Malay stalls / restaurant. But Ya Kun also sells Mee Siam, so I ordered one to try when I went Ya Kun. Service is good. Overall the soup taste not bad. It comes with small bite toufu and egg. It is an economical type of mee siam. It costs $3.80. I think price is reasonable for a restaurant located in a shopping mall. Will come back to try out other food from here. Usually, customers order yakun toast bread when they are here.

Its great to have a delicious breakfast in the morning I order 2 Set A , it come with Kaya Toast + Half boiled egg + Coffee. Wait about 6 minutes time the kaya toast served. Its crispy enough with kaya + butter, its melt inside my mouth. taste good! and for the half boiled need to have it once you have it, cause it will turn cold very fast. Not nice to have it when it turn cold.Overall is not bad.

Set C consists of 2 soft-boiled eggs, a cheese toast and a drink. I changed my drink to cold tea (with additional charges). The soft-boiled eggs were very very tasty! I love soft-boiled eggs The eggs were big and goes very well with the soy sauce & pepper! The toast were not very tasty in my opinion. The toast was not crunchy at all and it was a little soggy and soft which does not go well with cheese. The cheese was not nice too However there were a kaya dip and it tastes better with the bread.

I am never bored of Ya Kun traditional toast and ice milk tea. Of course the running eggs also. The serving crew will help you break the eggs, and the eggs look so nice. Some coffee shop will ask you to break it yourself. I never see them fail on cook the beautiful running eggs. You can order your favorite toast and drink in set.I love their traditional toast especially the butter in between the bread

Went to Ya Kun Toast on a random morning and ordered the Ya Kun Kaya Toast set as my breakfast. The bread are perfectly baked, crispy and smell nice, but the kaya filling is kinda too sweet to me. Well, I seldom eat half boiled egg, but i got to say that their half boiled eggs are quite nice. Half boiled eggs are always good to eat when they are served hot Cheap and yummy breakfast though.

ya kun has nice toast but it's still not comparable to the original killiney kopitiam! the toast here is a bit too thin and too lightly toasted. the filling is very good, with correct balance of kaya and butter. the butter is also half melted which is good. the kaya is fragrant is just right. the bread is abit too thin though. nice that the serving is quite generous. would go to ya kun on a pinch but it's not our first choice for kaya toast.

My girlfriend and I headed to ya kun toastwich for some light snack. My girlfriend was really thrilled to see that they sold laksa and we decided to order that. Their laksa was not too bad. The portion was rather small though. The gravy was very delicious, thick and fragrant. You can taste the coconut milk. Their noodles were very smooth and the ingedients were quite a lot. if they had bigger portions, it would be perfect!

Visited this place for the first time, well, this is the first branch I've seen where they offer mee siam, laksa, mee rubus and other drinks like lemon lime and orange juice I ate the laksa, while my mum tried their mee siam. They were quite generous with the laksa, as they gave lots of dou pok and fishcake, plus the fact they gave you a whole egg (many stores give you just half), also, I like the fact they did it just like katong laksa, where you can just eat it with a spoon. Moving on, my mum

Moving on, my mum said that they added tomatoes in the mee siam gravy, which really upped the health level on this gravy-laden food, and tasted good too!
I'm sure many haven't tried out this place yet, it's actually called Ya Kun Toastwich

This place is great. I don't take long to order my breakfast here as it is quite quiet. Nothing pretentious, just good coffee and toast. I ordered the famous kaya and butter toast to eat and it was delicious. Their iced-kopi is also one of the best I've ever tasted. And I absolutely enjoyed the old style of this environment. Service is also generally fast since there weren't much people.
