Signature Dishes
I was in the mood for a light lunch so decided to have sliced fish soup with rice. The portion of sliced fish was rather generous for $4. It has got a noticeable freshness with natural sweetness detected serving in a clear tasting soup with only a very slight peppery taste. It has some vegetable added to make this a even healthier choice. It goes really well with the rice.

It must be one of my luckiest days as this stall opened for business when i was there last Tuesday in evening. This stall is operating in 2 shifts and the afternoon shift started at 5.30 pm and so, if you want a bowl of comforting fish soup then you will have to watch out your timing and shall not be here too early to avoid unwanted waiting time.There were quite a few customers ordered to take away and i waited for about 10 minutes or so to give my order and another 5 minutes to finally gotten my order. The reasonably serving of sliced fish tasted really fresh which i liked quite a bit, the soup was savory with no hint of MSG added. The white rice complemented it perfectly.It was a comforting choice for dinner and satisfying, too.

It's not easy to find a Fish Soup stall that sells Garoupa Fish besides Toman or Batang but I'm glad to have discovered this place not too far from my home.At first glance, the soup looks boring and bland but one taste of the soup and you know instantly it is fresh and good stuff. The fish was tender and fresh and it was such a joy to eat it! I find Batang/Toman fish slices a tad fishy if it is not fresh or not cooked properly but no such problem here.One portion is $6 excluding rice, a little expensive but worth the quality. They could add more green veggies to make the look more appetising
