A real fan of ice cream and all treats frozen, frozen yogurt tops my list of frozen desserts because of its low fat and calorie content, as well as its customisability. Everytime I'm in the vicinity, I'll stop by for Yoguru's frozen yogurt. Initially drawn to their yogurt because of the enticing 0% fat, I was hooked on it because it was so smooth and creamy. Sheer delight in one's mouth, every spoonful of froyo is delightfully sweet with a slightly tangy aftertaste. The yogurt isn't sickeningly sweet nor cloying as one would expect with typical frozen desserts, instead, it has a distinct yogurt taste without the intense sourness. It's free from lumps (yikes!) and the frozen iciness that one will get at some yogurt kiosks, and the yogurt is cold & creamy enough to be mistaken for yogurt flavoured soft ice cream.

They also offer add-ons such as fruits and nuts, or for those who prefer something heartier -cereal or even chocolate bars. A personal fan of the true, original yogurt taste, I rarely add on any toppings. The toppings are merely $1.10 each (if I remember correctly) to jazz up your yogurt.

The smallest cup (the one I bought!) goes for only $3.20 and is one of the more reasonably priced ones in the market that really give you good value -as you can see, the yogurt fills the cup and it swirls up to a good height! They come in several other sizes and the prices come up to about $4+ for plain yogurt. They also offer seasonal flavours such as blueberry, mango, pomegrenate etc, but these a several cents more expensive. The take-home pack is also available for those who want to bring some of this lovable goodness home to share with the family

Even though the cafe space is small and most people takeaway their yogurt, they do offer a small seating area with several tables. The place is generally clean, and quiet (for the most part!) as Kallang Leisure is generally a quiet mall catering to the residents living nearby. The signature purple yoguru panels are a must-have here, and the flavours/toppings rarely vary from outlet to outlet.

Staff is always friendly and they'll greet me with a "Hi what can I get you!" with a smile that hits like a ray of sunshine -not sure how the staff manage to do that every time but I've never been let down by their service. At such a reasonable price and with low calories/fat, Yoguru is my all time favourite go-to place for a snack.

They even weight it before give to us,it's so good, they are so trusty.

My dad was driving around kallang area when we stopped at kallang leisure park to walk walk. I spotted a branch yoguru and headed there to get my daily dose of fro-yo. It is very chewy however it does not stick to your teeth. It goes well with the frozen yogurt cos it gives a contrast in texture. I strongly recommend their original flavour.

This is the best frozen yoghurt chain in singapore, in my opinion. The flavour is not sour and not overly sweet. Nicely balanced. But rather pricey. Love the mochi and the granola. Fresh and nicely flavoured. The original flavour yogurt is pretty good. Might try the flavoured ones next time. Service is nothing to comment on. I usually takeaway as the tables and chairs are pretty uncomfortable to lounge in. They have magazines to encourage you to stay longer and maybe buy more but the seats are t

I am a big yogurt fan and I had to try the yogurt from yoguru. I had the natural flavoured yogurt with fruit loops. The taste was really too natural and I did not really enjoy it. I prefer flavoured yogurt. However, this yogurt did not taste bad just that I am not a fan of the natural flavour just that I wanted to try it. The ambience is really nice. It is a good place to hang out with friends and the staff there are also very friendly.

Think yoghurt and what comes to mind is usually Yami yoghurt, which has been around since the 1980s. Now, there is a new and local choice of yoghurt – Yoguru. The Singaporean company specialises in frozen yoghurt in two flavours and comes with a choice of more than 20 healthier toppings like fruits, cereal and nuts.

THE FOOD:

Unlike other yoghurt parlours here, Yoguru comes in only two flavours – Original and YoguBliss. YoguBliss is a mix of dragonfruit and pomegranate. Both are fruits filled with antioxidants, which protect cells from harmful molecules and helps stall that aging process. And like the rest, it comes with fresh fruits, cereal and nut toppings.

Yoguru's yoghurt is fat-free and made right at each store using fresh ingredients without preservatives or additives. Also, those less of a sweet tooth will prefer Yoguru yoghurt as it is slightly less sweet than choices like Yami yoghurt and Frolick.

THE MOOD:

Simple, no-frills decor that is good enough for customers to rest their feet while enjoying a ice-cold yoghurt but it will not entice people to buy a yoghurt just to sit in.
