Went to redeem this as a birthday gift from company. Been long since i last ate, the standard still retains. This time round added ginger & lots chilli powder to it as usual. Ordered gyoza as side dish too. It was, we could only get to taste the outer layer rather than the filling. Was looking at the menu while waiting for food, saw them having spicy beef too, looks nice, would love to try it the next time i patronize Yoshinoya.

This is super yummy i swear! It's a promotion at Takashimaya Yoshinoya outlet and you got to buy this before 5pm. It's beef spaghetti. Pour in the entire beef along with it's soup and gravy into the noodles. It is really tasty! The beef especially is thinly sliced, soft and well marinated. Spaghetti is soft too. The gravy is a little salty but goes really well with the noodles.

Whenever I think of 'healthier food', Yoshinoya always come into my mind. One of my favourite choice will be their Salmon Japanese rice. Salmon is deep fried but not too oily. Their Japanese rice is very fragrant and nice to eat with their sliced preserve ginger and dash of their chilli powder. Mixed vegetables which includes green and white brocoili and carrot, are all boiled before served. It is really healthy as no other sauces are topped on the mixed vegetables. It is a satisfying and

Setting - Cosy place opposite Tampopo in Ngee Ann City/Takashimaya. Nice spacious seatings. Relatively clean but could be much better! No chloride smell - unlike KFC and Maccas which always seem to have chloride smells due to the cut-corner cleaning.Vaue - great because it is very cheap and the quality is not too bad.Service - they seem to hire old aunties. The auties are quite friendly and helpful and polite. No attitude here. Smiles plastered on their faces - although pretty fake, it's better

There was a generous amount of teriyaki sauce poured over my rice and chicken, so the taste was nice. Quite alot of vegetables were also given, and I ate up all the broccoli (which was my favourite). I didnt like the scallops, they tasted quite bland to me. Ate only 1 piece and gave the other 2 to my two friends, just nice! Haha.
The drink was nice, not diluted like some food places.

I was given a spin-n-win scratch card, which was supposingly to used for a contest on Facebook, but when I went online, the contest was already over.

Next time will only order the rice bowl with drink set, as I don't like the scallops.

We had our lunch @ Yoshinoya, Ngee Ann City. Not a very recommend Japanese place but for a quick to go food, this is some place you can have. The salmon and the teriyaki are my favorite. With the teriyaki sauce to go with, everything taste nice. However, I think they should improve on their rice. The rice isn't the traditional japanese rice, is just a normal rice we cook at home. Other than that, everything still ok.

Yoshinoya was having a promotion with the new add-on toppings. It was only $5 for the beef bowl with mushrooms. Since I was famished, I added a side dish of fried fish, I like fish in general but that order turned out to be a no no. The beef bowl was excellent as usual, the mushrooms were good too. The fried fish was kind of regret actually, it was soaked and dripping in oil, plus it already turned soggy when I got home. The mayonnaise was definitely unnecessary.

If you want fast food that not only serves fried food, try Yoshinoya.I used to think that Yoshinoya is expensive and nothing special. But it is their simplicity that makes the food taste good! The service is so-so though. My all-time favourite: Spicy beef bowl, miso soup.
