I had their bee hoon fried fish soup for $4. The fried fish was quite thick and the meat was tender too. It tasted something different from the usual fried fish that other stalls offer and I would say this is one of the best! The bee hoon soup was plain tasting and the texture was smooth. You Yi stall at havelock road food centre. They are popular for their fried fish soup. I had their fried fish ban mian ($4). Usually, I don't like fried fish soup, as I find them either soggy,too much flour or too hard. But you yi fried fish somehow differ from others. Their fried fish meat is very thick and tender. Ordered tom yum fried fish noodles at $4.50 takeaway. There is an additional 50cents for tom yum and another additional 50cents for takeaway. There were 4 large pieces of fried fish which were very filling. It was slightly soggy but still yummy.
