Yummi Chiffon (Closed)

Bought 4 chiffon cakes home for breakfast the next day, love the coffee walnut flavoured one, there were crispy walnut bits, the cranberry flavoured one, although nothing special, although tasted fine, same for the cheese flavoured one. Tried the double chocolate one as well, but still preferred coffee walnut. Best if you heat them again, tastes really good when they are pippin' hot! But they still taste good even if chilled.

The other time I got the chocolate chiffon, so this time I got both the chocolate and double chocolate flavours to do a side-by-side comparison of the taste so that next time I will know which to get. To all those who are deciding between normal or double chocolate, go for the double chocolate. The taste is really so much more fragrant. Even my daughter who usually snubs at chocolate flavoured cakes loves this. It is really light and yet the chocolate intensity is there and is really brought out

The wide variety of chiffon cakes caught my eye as I walked past the stall. I stopped and decided to get one chiffon cake back home to share with my mum. There are really a lot of different flavours like orange, chocolate banana etc, but I decided on a quite unique combination, the cranberry soy chiffon. i always wanted to try their chiffon cake. The wide variety, or rather, the creative use of ingredients really caught my attention. The price is reasonable ( all priced below $2) and taste is superb. I got the strawberry yogurt one. It’s very smooth and the taste is just nice. A little sour admist the sweetness made it extra appetising. Worth trying!

Its amazing to see such great variety of chiffon flavours and I feel like trying every one of it. The chiffon is very soft and spongey, as well as fresh. Even if you put in fridge, they did not turn hard, instead, they still retained their softness. I bought 4 flavours, strawberry yoghurt, cranberry soy, mocha cheese and orange for $6.50. However, I am slightly disappointed by their taste as I felt that it is a bit too bland, especially the strawberry yoghurt. The other 3 flavours are considered

Yummi Chiffon sells very pretty chiffons that comes in many different flavours. As for me, I particularly liked its coffee chocolate flavour and peanut butter flavour. Very unique taste for Chiffons. The chiffon is also very soft, it is as if you dont have to bite it and it will slowly melt in your mouth!

Was walking around bugis and feeling abit peckish... Saw the chiffon rolls and cakes and was tempted to try them...Prices are below $2...Bought the apple and lemon flavored rolls~The apple one was quite good as it has some 'real' apples in it and gave it a crunchy feel...Sweetness was alright...The lemon one was a little pricey... as there wasn't much of a lemon taste...

We were about to go to Genting Highlands and saw this stall at the basement of Bugis Junction. Their display of the cake attracted me to walk towards to find out what they offer. They have a range of flavours, not only that the pricing of the cake is quite reasonable! For $1.70 you get a small chiffon cake.What I like about their cake is that they are light, good enough to fill the stomach for a long journey like the one to Genting Highlands. i came across this when i was shopping around bugis junction. my husband and i are a fan of chiffon, and we always buy the usual pandan chiffon. i was quite surprise to find somewhere selling different flavours chiffon cakes. i bought the strawberry and chocolate banana flavour chiffon cakes. i love the chocolate banana. my husband and i agreed that it was the nicer out of the two. the flavour was not too strong!

My mother went to bugis and came home with this little treat for me. It is a chiffon cake. Unlike outside chiffon cake where there is only pandan flavour, she came back with chocolate banana flavour. The chocolate layer was much stronger than the banana layer, it kind of overpower the banana flavour, but never the less, the snack was good, light and not the normal chiffon cake size. Just nice for tea time.

i love eating chiffon cakes, they are really light and you would not get sick of eating too much of it. I happened to come across a branch of yummi chiffon and decided to buy my favourite oreo flavour. It was very light and flurry, while watching television, I can finish up one chiffon myself, it is that yummy! The oreo taste is strong but not overpowering. All these while, when we eat chiffon, there is only pandan flavour. It is quite creative of them to experiment with other flavours!

They offer two types of chiffon cakes: one with filling inside (few flavours) and the other without. Ordered the Coffee Walnut and Triple Chocolate flavours, both without filling inside and cost $1.70 each.The texture of the chiffon cakes is very soft, similar to pandan cakes. Both cakes did not have very strong flavours and I feel that with such a small serving size sold at this price, it is not really worth it. Perhaps for the next time, I will try other types of chiffon cakes with fillings.
