It’s the best mooncake i had this year! Ordered the white lotus paste with single egg yolk mooncake as I’m not a fan of egg yolk. When i cut the mooncake, i was quite disappointed as the yolk is right in the middle( that means i’ll have to eat the yolk too...). But to my surprise, i actually like the additional blend of flavour. Their egg yolk lifted the whole taste, not too dry, not too oily but just nice! The lotus paste is great too. But to my surprise, i actually like the additional blend of flavour. Their egg yolk lifted the whole taste, not too dry, not too oily but just nice! The lotus paste is great too. Sweetness level is just right and there’s is a special fragrance, coming from melon seed/lotus seed that makes eating a pleasure and worst of all... forgetting that it’s sinful! i ate a quarter of it at one go! Sounds little?? Well.. girls( like myself ) should watch their diet...
