Red Bean Paste Pancake - To end off a sumptious feast of dumpling is this hot favourite Red Bean Paste Pancake. The pastry is crispy with sesame toppings making it frangrant. A thin layer of mochi lines the pastry in the inside and the melting hot red bean paste simply oozes out. The sweetness level of the red bean is just right. Always feel that it is like a "Happing Ending" having this as the dessert.

As mentioned, one must be skilful in handling the Little Juicy Steamed Meat Dumplings. You can see through the dumpling skin...A meatball soaked in a delicious soup. Once you bite it, you really have to sip the juice. As regulars there with my colleagues and friends from overseas, we always joked that whoever breaks the xiao long bao when getting a piece out of the bamboo basket, has to pay for the meal.
Pan Fried Mixed Seafood and Pork Dumplings - A Pan Fried Dumpling in a small rounded oblong roll. A cute shape indeed. Eat it once served is simply wonderful! The dumpling wrap is fried to a golden brown and it is crackling crispy when it is sizzling hot. This shop is along Neil Road with one side of it leading to Chinatown. Initially years back, we see many Japanese customers queing up at this shop. There is always a queue waiting eagerly at the shop. It seems that there were writeups on this shop in the Japanese magazines, hence we see many Japanese tourists or residing Japanese coming here. Nowadays we see many local customers here too. The boss has expanded his premise by taking over the shop that was next door which is indeed good news as the waiting could be shortened. There are other savoury items like Steamed Vegetarian Dumplings, Noodles with Minced Pork And Soya Bean Paste etc and sweets like Rose Flavoured Glutinous Rice Balls and Lotus Seed Paste Pancakes etc.
