We went for the afternoon tea buffet at Rose Veranda which is a small and cozy café on the second floor of Shangrila Hotel. The interior décor is very elegant and the HUGE array of teas they offer is simply mind blowing.

Food wise, the foie gras was fantastic, so were the crème brulee, curries and roast beef. However, the truffles did not taste nice and their sashimi selection was very limited and did not look good either. Additionally the buffet spread was so small it took only 2 rounds to finish everything.

I did not feel the meal was worth the amount of money spent, however given the ambience, I would recommend Rose Veranda to those who have small appetite, the cash and are looking for a nice relaxing afternoon sipping tea and taking small bites.
