I went with my long time friend to Ajisen Ramen for lunch. We both ordered our own ramen and also got two sides to share, the ageshi tofu and fried chicken. For my ramen, I ordered the spicy miso ramen ($11). The ramen comes with half of an egg, char siu and condiments like black fungus and spring onions. The miso soup taste quite nice and I felt that having spicy miso soup makes the taste of the soup more robust instead of just having it original without chili. The char siu is not as tender as

The miso soup taste quite nice and I felt that having spicy miso soup makes the taste of the soup more robust instead of just having it original without chili. The char siu is not as tender as what I had from other ramen places but still passable. I particularly love the noodles here as it is quite springy in texture and not soggy. The sides are quite alright. I love the tofu more than the chicken as the chicken wasn't warm when it was served to us and it has too much batter and very little chicken flesh.
