Met up with my sistas for an impromptu birthday celebration at Irodori. This place is owned by my sistas' uncle and we got to book the private room for the celebration.We had the Ala Carte Buffet dinner at $35++ per pax. The menu is pretty extensive with over 100 dishes available for unlimited orders. The Califonia Maki has ample topping of tobiko roe & mayo, blends well with the avocado & crabstick inside...yums.
Assorted sashimi, consist of three kinds of fishes and slices of octopus. The fish slices was as fresh as it can be, thickness cut just right, not too thin...slurp!
Ebi tempura, crispy batter coated fresh prawns...served still pipping hot..so good we had to order seconds
Bacon wrapped sausages, these were delish as well...the bacon was crispy and smoky...thumbs up.
My sista's uncle also served us some delectable premium dishes not found in the standard buffet menu...the Torched Salmon Belly sushi was to-die-for!
The salmon belly simply melts onto the tongue releasing its fragrance into the mouth...and the tobiko roe just adds extra texture to the fish...highly recommended to order this on top of the buffet menu!We were stuffed after over eating numerous variety of dishes...nobody is able to finish tasting all the dishes in one seating...you gotta come back for more!
