Never did I realize wantan mee can be that amazing, I finally did after I've tried this Kok Kee stall. $4 (small) and $5 (big) for wantan mee is not exactly cheap for coffeeshop food court standard, but the perfect combination of the noodle and the sweet sauce more than justify it. Unlike traditional wantan mee, the homemade sauce, mixed with chilli, is so tasty that you will eat every spoonful of the noodles with quarter spoonful of the sauce. The noodle is perfectly cooked, easy to bite and do not taste overcooked. The char siew and wantan also feels freshly prepared. Soup wise is the only average item for this delicious set. Anyway I hardly see anyone order the soup version so remember to go with the flow
Enjoy!
