In a spur of the moment we decided to indulge in a magnificent buffet lunch at The Fullerton one day. I had expected the buffet spread to be of excellent quality but it turned out to be pretty average. Because it was an international buffet with a mixture of different cuisines, you get a plate of roast duck next to your pasta; and it just doesn't pair up that nicely for me. I enjoyed my Italian buffet at Basilico much more than this buffet at Town Restaurant. However, I must say that their seafood was very fresh; especially the scallops and salmon sashimi. Their desserts were quite bad except for the mini tarts and I didn't get to try their ice cream. Overall, it was a very full meal but not very satisfying in terms of the quality of the food.
