I never leave this bakery without getting more custard pies and char siew soh (roast pork pastries) to go!! Because even though I get a few custard pies to eat on the spot, I MUST BRING SOME MORE HOME WITH ME TO SHARE!! Even though the char siew soh is like $1.20 and is more expensive than the tiong bahru bakery right next to it.. the pastry of the char siew soh will amaze you like the pastry of the custard pie does.. It's thicky, crispy, flaky and even after several hours taking it home. IT'S

I really love their custard pastries.. Over the past few years, with increased prices, this bakery has managed to keep the custard pastry for just $1.10 yay! On a Sunday afternoon about 12pm is the time these puffs get injected with the custard and I strongly recommend you to try them out when they're that fresh out of the oven!! The custard buns also a treat at $1.20 each but I'm a bigger fan of the puff pastry cone than the buns..
