My mother came back from a meeting at Chinatown, she bought back the delicious Tong Heng Egg Tarts. Too bad I ate a too hearty dinner so I could not stomach them for supper and had to keep them for breakfast. Despite keeping the egg tarts overnight, the egg tarts tasted so good. the pastry did become a little soft but the buttery fragrance still remained there. The custard of the egg tart is not too sweet, very smooth and goes well with the pastry. It was very satisfying.
