Mee kia was thicker and springy drenched with an abundance of dark sauce that totally suits my likings. However, my Hong Kong visitor find that the sauce was too overpowering and salty. The Char Siew that comes along with my breakfast was caramelized, giving off hints of roasted fragrance at its exterior. The meat was lean with good proportion of fats and I can say that it was one of the better Char Siews I had ever tried.

The wantons were boiled with its texture of skin smooth and soft, this could probably fits in a good challenge to any common neighbourhood wanton Mee stalls.
