Batu Berapi Grill is definitely not a new vendor nor stranger to the residents here at Upper Boon Keng Market & Food Centre. It's really rare to find a Halal Tze Char eatery in Singapore, at least to my knowledge. Unlike the typical Tze Char which can be found at almost every corner of our tiny island.Seafood Hor Fun ($4). The Kway Tiao might be plain looking unlike those that are fried with black sauce, but the 'wok hei' (mild burnt) flavour was evident and it wasn't too 'nua' (soft) in texture

Seafood Hor Fun ($4). The Kway Tiao might be plain looking unlike those that are fried with black sauce, but the 'wok hei' (mild burnt) flavour was evident and it wasn't too 'nua' (soft) in texture. A simple delight.

Seafood Muay Fun ($4). Didn't try this, but I concurred that it can't go wrong since the base gravy was the same as the hor fun.

Will want to try out their BBQ and grilled stuff such as their popular BBQ Stingray the next trip!

Batu Berapi Grill opens till rather late as compared to their neighbours. We were there till about 1030-11pm.
