This chicken rice left a very deep impression on me because of their close attention to details. I used to always order the Chicken Rice ($3) when I was working nearby. This chicken rice left a very deep impression on me because of their close attention to details. I used to always order the Chicken Rice ($3) when I was working nearby. The chicken is very tender and fresh, and somehow you can just taste that it's a few notches higher than the usual "chicken rice" at any other hawker centres. They also have a soup accompanying the rice, which contains corn and you can tell that the soup base has been simmered in chicken bones for hours. Not some MSG-laden sort of soup that you usually get at food courts. So much better in quality at such a cheap price! Definitely worth it.

Their cutlery is always clean (you may think it's basic but many could not achieve this) throughout my frequent visits to the stall. Haven't tried Tian Tian yet, but I think this is the best chicken rice in SG and should be quite difficult to be better than this. They always have a long queue at lunchtime, but clears very fast.
