This fishball noodies shop has got the best fishballs I have ever tasted (I eat fishballs all the time). The fishballs are huge compared to the average ones and very springy to the bite.

Remember the Steven Chow show 食神 where he, Karen Mok and the triad boss sat at the table looking at their fishballs bouncing up and down the table?

Well, those fishballs are bouncing happily at 112 Katong.

One chopstick handling flaw can literally send your fishball bouncing across the table onto the floor. (It is true and I have seen that happen with my own eyes). The stall highlights that the fishballs are made fresh with yellowtail, but really, who can tell? But I have seen the uncle mixing the paste at the stall when they first started at 112. Nowadays I guess they make them off-site to cater to the larger quantity required.

The usual selection of noodles are cooked nicely too and did not let down the meal. They are a bit on the pricey side (Food Republic Somerset 313 prices) but hey, pay for quality people!

The other stall I can remember that compares with them is the one at Orchard Ion, but I still prefer this one.

WOA: Eat your fishballs with the chili padi/soy sauce. Shiok!
