I've been to Megumi many times as it is just outside my house. I must say, this place is crowded every night! Despite being crowded, service is quick and efficient. The salmon sashimi comes in 5 thick slices and are really fresh. (5 slices for $10)What I enjoy most at Megumi has got to be their fried rice. Any kind of fried rice they serve is awesome! For a restaurant with such awesome food, it is really value for money. The price is comparable to Sushi Tei, Ichiban Boshi and many other Japanese restaurants, but the quality of food you get is definitely a notch higher. Driving here may be a bit of a hassle as they only have 7 parking lots in front of the restaurant, shared with next door Pasta Fresca. But, you won't regret making a trip down to Siglap for good Japanese food (:
