For lunch, I headed to Food Junction in Lot 1 and ordered a Biscuit Chicken Set meal from Fu Xiang. Fu Xiang specialises in their Curry Chicken and most people would order that set. However, having tried the Curry Set before, I decided to pick another set to try out. I da-baoed back this lunch for $5.50 and waited about 10 min for it. The good thing was that the lady at the counter packed the curry separately from the chicken.Taste: Chicken skin was crispy and tasty with the fragrance of the bat
I da-baoed back this lunch for $5.50 and waited about 10 min for it. The good thing was that the lady at the counter packed the curry separately from the chicken. Taste: Chicken skin was crispy and tasty with the fragrance of the batter. I could even eat the chicken without the curry sauce! I love how they replaced the usual 'Crispy' Chicken to 'Biscuit' Chicken. Sounds sooo much delicious right? The curry sauce is not too overwhelmingly spicy, but not tooo mild, with a right amount of coconut milk and curry spices and not too thick. Just perfect to complement the rice and chicken slices. The two veggie leaves provided was kinda pathetic looking, got soggy with the heat of the chicken and rice. Nice try to make this a nutritional meal. Haha
Overall: Recommended if you love crispy chicken plus curry! Its worth a try for new tasters who want a new variety apart from the usual Curry Chicken set from Fu Xiang~
