This is the newest outlet of Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert at AMK Hub. It was after lunch so only 3 tables occupied there. It is a cosy shop with a limited seating capacity. I ordered the black Glutinous Rice with Coconut Ice Cream and Mini Pearls for $4.30. I ordered right at the counter, paid up and given a number tag to be displayed on the table. The dessert was served to my table by a friendly waiter in a bit. I was amazed by the taste. The black glutinous has got a good consistence with the right level of softness. The texture was further enhanced by the chewiness of the mini pearls. The right amount of coconut milk added to give it a light fragrance. The level of sweetness was a spot on. The scoop of coconut ice cream given it a perfect touch to make this a memorable dessert.
It was a pleasant surprise and i am most likely to come back to try the rest.
