Situated in populated Ang Mo Kio, Qi Le Boneless chicken Rice differentiate itself from the many chicken rice stall by giving big bowl of soup free of charge. It is very tasty, certainly a must eat dish. During peak hour like lunch time and dinner time, the queue is especially long, queuing is a must. Must be patient. The stall serves roasted chicken and white chicken, but i recommend the white steam chicken as it is nicer. The meat is soft and tender, not over cooked and tough. You will be able to feel the smooth texture of the meat. Simply heavenly. I have the urge to have 2nd round. More importantly, all the bones are pick out, you do not have to do it yourself. A meal will cost about $3.50.
The soup is not the usual MSG-filled soup that you tasted at other stall, but soup full of ingredients. They have different soup everyday. For example, the lotus roots and peanut soup is filled with big peanuts or chicken chunks with peanuts. You will be able to ask for more soup too!!! Isnt it good? This really show that the food is really cook with passion and to serve the customers.
The chicken rice served is fragrant and taste alot like chicken. Not so oily, the moisture is just nice. Eat with their chilli sauce give u a surprising combination which is hard to describe. The chili sauce has gotten a good balance of chilli, lime, garlic and ginger to give it a well-balanced taste. Service is fast, queue move fast too. Food is really fantastic and taste really really good. I really love the chicken rice here.
