As the family is planning to board a flight at terminal 3, we decide to have our breakfast at the cafe as it is located at the departure hall. The cafe is quite open and not crowded. However we need to quite awhile to be served as they are a bit understaffed. The staff is quite friendly and reminds us that we have to wait awhile for food although they will try their best to be faster. The cafe offers breakfast sets served with regular coffee or English Breakfast tea, and is available till 11am.
Crispy bacon, chicken sausages, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, eggs and hot toast.
It looks a bit plain for the usual big breakfast. Nice and filling. Likes the sauteed mushrooms. Salmon On A Holiday ($11.90++)
Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, fresh tomato slices and Arugula leaves on a tasty sesame bagel with zesty lemon cream spread.
Could not taste the lemon spread, but the smoked salmon is not too salty.
Mushroom Bruschetta Bash ($10.90++)
Chorizo sausage and Portobello mushroom bruschetta, scrambled eggs and mesclun salad.
It looks rather plain when served. The ugly looking paste on toast, actually tastes quite yummy delicious.
Rise & Shine ($10.90++)
French toast with tangy tomato chutney spread, ham and cheese, sauteed mushrooms and mesclun salad.
The dish is not what I am expecting. It looks like a ham and cheese sandwich to me. Tastes not bad.
Original Pancakes ($7.90++)
Lightly drizzled with golden maple syrup, served with strawberry compote.
The pancake is soft and fluffy, goes quite well with the slightly tart compote. Topup $3.90++ with Chipolata chicken sausage, 2 slices of bacon and sauteed mushrooms.
Overall the breakfast sets are not bad and filling in servings. The service is great. The place is quiet and relaxing for a nice meal.
