Recently SuFood had expanded to a second outlet in Wheelock Place. While the Raffles City outlet is known for its 8 course vegetarian meal, this outlet offers breakfast sets, high tea sets and express lunch sets. The outlet is also much smaller than the first outlet. It is decorated in similar style in white and stylish look, but with an open concept. This morning I happened to walk by and decided to try its breakfast set. This morning I happened to walk by and decided to try its breakfast set. There was 6 different choices for its breakfast menu (priced from $8.90 to $9.80):
Classic Omelette with Toast
Cheesy Mushroom Wrap
Golden Crispy Cheese Loaf
Hearty Shrooms Roll
Veggie Burger with Sweet Potato Fries
Scrambled Egg Croissant.
Succulent Lions' Mane mushrooms stuffed in a melted cheese bread roll, served with piping hot butter flavoured Japanese sweet potato and healthy romaine salad.
The sweet potato was served with sweet cinnamon flavoured butter. The sweet potato was soft and moist, and went quite well with the butter. The bread roll was stuffed with lots of mushroom and chilli. Although there was chilli it did not taste spicy.
Digestive, after-dinner tea of mint leaves, lemongrass and liquorice root.
I also topup $1 for the tea, which tasted quite refreshing.
Overall the food was quite filling and delicious for a breakfast set. One did not feel the need for meat during the meal.
