The South Canteen in Nanyang Polytechnic is always crowded during lunch hours.
I was too lazy to queue for other stalls, therefore I went to the stall with the least people, which was the Vegetarian stall.

My friend told me that I can request for brown rice instead of the normal white rice, with addition of some money.
Due to my health problem, I was on a strict diet, I was not allowed to take any mock meats as they're all made of artificial colourings and chemicals.

Thus, I ordered the brown rice, stir-fried bittergourd and xiao bai cai.
The stir-fried bitter gourd actually comes with tofu (beancurd) but I told the aunty I only wanted the bittergourd as I dislike tofus.

This plate of rice costs me $2.00.
The board stated that 2 vege + rice costs $1.50,
so I guess the brown rice itself costs $0.50

To my disappointment, the quality of the brown rice was bad and soft.
For the bittergourd, it tasted pretty good

And it was cooked in a healthier way, without any black sauces, unlike the Economic Rice stall.
Same goes to the xiao bai cai. Healthy but nice.

Overall, it was quite a satisfying meal for a $2 meal.
