This is the traditional style/ singaporean style of fried carrot cake unlike the Hong Kong style fried carrot cake. I still prefer this type of fried carrot cake compared to Hong Kong style. There are two types of fried carrot cake- either fried it with black sauce or no black thick sauce. I've ordered the white version without black sauce. Saltness level is just nice for me and it's not oily. Good "wok hei" makes the carrot cake and eggs more fragrant too.
