A continual food trail to yesterday's post, we had Fried carrot Cake (black) version as one of the dishes too.Though Chinatown Food Street is a one stop station for local delights, such traditional dish are hardly steamed by themselves anymore and most of them came in a pack from the factory. The black version does not has any distinct taste but rather salty in the plate. It's more of the plain small rectangular cut carrot cake coated in sweet black sauce and fried over the heat for a while. It
