I saw a large crowd of people crowding around this new stall, I decided to go and check it out. It turned out that they sell hong kong ji da zai, hong kong egglets. I joined in the queue and ordered a chocolate flavour one. The wait was pretty long, around 10 to 15 minutes. These egglets are freshly made, so when they served you, it is piping hot. The chocolate flavour is really good, very fragrant. The outside is crunchy on the outside, taste a little bit like koko krunch. The inside is very soft and chewy. They added some chocolate chips to the mixture to give it more chocolaty taste. The egglet is not too sweet, which makes it very delicious. it think it is very hard to find such nice hong kong food in Singapore.
