I'd been there once with my mum and the food was pleasant. Hence, we decided to head there for our lunch again.We went there during the period where they offer lunch set meal from 1100-1400. The lunch set meal includes soup of the day, the main course and choice of tea with prices starting from 12.90 bucks. I tried a new item on the menu which was green tea spaghetti with shrimp. The soup of the day was pumpkin soup. I love pumpkin soup but the pumpkin was disappointing. I couldn't taste the richness and sweetness of pumpkin.
When the dish arrived, I was quite skeptical about it. The green coloured spaghetti looked interesting and it was served with fried mushroom, beef patty and a salad which consist of ham, pineapple and cucumber on the side.
My first bite literally blew my mind away. I can really taste the green tea!!! And it didn't taste weird at all. Like as though the dish was designed this way, nothing is wrong with it.
Even though I'm really not a fan of cream based spaghetti, this is really different. I love this dish. Not to mention that the sides were delicious as well. This set meal cost $15.90
I'm really very pleased with this dish because green tea normally points toward sweets, but this time round, I learnt that green tea fits perfectly well with savoury too. ^^
