The chuka iidako is seasoned mini octopus sushi. This is my mother's favourite sushi in the restaurant. Ichiban Sushi normally put an overflowing amount of octopus on the sushi. The octopus is pretty rubbery and sweet. However, the restaurant doesn't normally serve this sushi fresh (they'll just take it off the conveyor belt if you order for it) so the seaweed isn't crispy and it is hard to break off. I'm not a big fan of sushi with soft seaweed so I'll prefer to order for a plate of JUST season

I'm not a big fan of sushi with soft seaweed so I'll prefer to order for a plate of JUST seasoned octopus which costs $3.90 whereas the chuka iidako costs $2.10.
