I am never a big fans of chwee kuey, as I think the dish is simply too oily for me. I went to Ghim Moh market for the chicken rice last weekend. After the meal, I passed by this stall, and saw the owners busy preparing the chwee kuey. It attracts my attention coz I never seen the making of chwee kuey I couldn't stop myself but bought a few chwee kuey to try then. To my surprise, the kuey is so soft and nice to chew on. Perhaps it's because the kuey is freshly made. The chye poh (preserved radish) are not too salty, slightly sweet in taste. It definitely has changed my perception on Chwee Kuey from now on.
