This was the first time our office was ordering halal lunch buffet from Chilli Api. Lunch was scheduled at noon but shortly after 11am the caterer had arrived with the food and proceeded to set up the buffet line. Cheerful, professional and speedy service! Lunch was scheduled at noon but shortly after 11am the caterer had arrived with the food and proceeded to set up the buffet line. Cheerful, professional and speedy service! Food was ordered from the local/Malay menu and their CNY menu. Their signature red kebaya motif table skirting brightened up our spartan conference room immediately. My favourite items were the kueh pie tee, raw fish salad (yusheng), prawn roll (ngoh hiang), chicken curry, herbal chicken, sauteed tiger prawns (big ones!), sautéed vegetables with ginkgo & macadamia nuts and the sweet longan soup. The yusheng came with a generous portion of thickly sliced fresh salmon, and was tastier than the versions served by other more established caterers like Select and Neo. Thumbs up.
