My friend told the bartender she wanted something sourish, and sweet at the same time. There's no name for this drink, but it's made up of gin tonic (as the base alcohol), raspberry and lime juice.

My other friend told the bartender she'd like something sweet and citrusy as well. And this is made up of light and dark rum as the base alcohol, elderflower and passion fruit.

This is my customized drink. I wanted something sweet and fruity. Here's what I got. Vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries and a gin tonic base.

Crispy skin roasted pork belly, frizzled ginger, plum dressing. I find that the crispy pork really goes well with the plum dressing. Other than the frizzled ginger, there were also crispy seaweed sprinkled generously atop. Best eaten together in a mouthful.

Wagyu beef and onsen egg with clay pot rice. The strong aroma of truffle assaulted our senses as the waiter set the dish before us. After mixing the rice with the beef and the beef with the egg, the first mouthful was really flavoursome. The truffle oil was really strong and it goes really well with the yolk that was mixed with the rice. Wagyu beef was tender and cooked to perfection.

We'd definitely return to MAD again.
