Atfer shopping for some groceries at Century Square this morning, I decided to try the newly opened food stall Ipoh Lou Yau Bean Sprout Chicken. Since I was alone, I opted for a set meal comprising of a plate of white steamed kampong chicken meat combined with a generous serving of crunchy bean sprouts and a bowl of hot Ipoh hor fun for an early lunch.

The kampong chicken meat was nothing special. In fact the chicken meat was a bit too soft. The chicken
meat served in our neighbourhood food centre are even better.

But I really had a crunch time with the stir fried bean sprouts. It has added great flavour and texture to the chicken dish. The lady who sat beside me also agreed that their bean sprout dish was good.

The hor fun was silky and soup served hot.

Total cost for my meal was $6.90.
