After trying out those flowy custard paus, I was keen to try on a more economical custard pau to see how it was like since I have never tried one before. The custard pau for Kimly is marked with a green dot for easy identification. I took away one home and steamed it hot the next day. The pau skin is quite ok, not too tasteless. The custard, of course, isn't those flowy custard since its just custard powder, but they also added some corn kernels to give it more bite and texture. I found the custard filling to be just right in sweetness, which complemented the pau skin very well.
