Green Pumpkin is one of the dining place at Shokutsu 10. I like their simple and cosy setting. I had their Wagashi set ($6.90), that served with either ocha (green tea) or coffee. Wagashi actually refers to traditional Japanese confectionary typically made with beans, grains, potatoes, sesame seeds and sugar. There are three choices for the set, and I ordered the Siberian Castella. It's the sweet bean jelly sandwiched between two matcha castella. The cake is fluffy and I like the sweetbean jell

Wagashi actually refers to traditional Japanese confectionary typically made with beans, grains, potatoes, sesame seeds and sugar. There are three choices for the set, and I ordered the Siberian Castella. It's the sweet bean jelly sandwiched between two matcha castella. The cake is fluffy and I like the sweetbean jelly very much, the sweetness is well-balanced by the cakes.

Tofu mousse ($9.90) is a bit bland in taste. If you are not a tofu person, you might not like it. However, when topped with matcha ice cream and white chocolate, it tastes so much better. There are also some kuzu mochi, kmako and cookie served on the plate too. Quite a pretty presentation.

They also have some breads displayed at the counter area. We decided to try two of them, and the staff is very kind and offer to warm them up for us. Green pumpkin ($1.60) is their signature bread. Very gorgeous looking. It is stuffed with the sweet goodness of Japanese pumpkin puree, delicious. It's a must try I reckon!

Ichigo melon pan ($1.90) looks like a mushroom hey. The strawberry melon bun has some chocolate chips inside, taste wise pretty ordinary.
