Mom has bought a few kuehs from this outlet as she always like the Nonya kuehs from Bengawan Solo. The kuehs taste fresh and look nice. The kuehs do not taste too sweet and are easy down the throat. My favourite is the Kuih Salat ($1.00) which is a typical " Nyonya Kuih " that's made up of glutinous rice, eggs, Pandan leaves and coconut milk. The kaya part is extremely smooth and its sweetness balance the heaviness of the glutinous rice.
