Swatow Seafood Restaurant offers ala carte Dimsum from 8am to 3pm I think, and high tea buffet starts at 3pm, where adult pays $22.80++ (weekends) for all-you-can-eat dimsum. We went for the ala carte dimsum, and totally satisfied with the food quality. My favourite have to be the prawn dumpling (har gao), $4 per serving of three. The prawn filling is generously huge, the prawn is so fresh and crunchy, what's more, the juice is savoury and tastes sesame oil aroma. Thumbs up! beancurd skin roll i

beancurd skin roll is not bad too. The sheet roll is filled with minced meat and prawn, and simmered in the rich oyster sauce. The roll absorbed the flavourful gravy, love the juiciness when you bite on it.

The prawn rice roll is a bit disappointing though. The rice roll is kind of too thick, the soy sauce gravy is alright, but the prawn inside is tasteless! It would be so much better if prawns are marinated before put in the rice roll.

We also ordered another type of dumpling, which I don't actually know the name. It has the yummy prawn filling as well, with the additional dried scallop topping, more luxury and savoury in a sense. Yummy!

Char siew pastry is another recommended dimsum. The char siew filling is sweet and thick, together with buttery pastry, awesome combination with pleasant taste. Love the hint of sesame fragrant too.

The salted egg custard bun is quite good. Watch out when you have it, the runny filling might turn out pretty messy. The savoury of the salted egg yolk, butter and sugar is sinfully good.

One could also order the ala carte dishes from the meal menu after 11am. We had the oyster omelette ($15). The oyster is served separately in the spicy sauce, which is fantastic, as it won't make the crispy batter turns soggy.

Remember to eat the oyster omelette with the chilli dip and fish sauce, which definitely enhances the whole flavour by heaps!
