I've always been to Cafe del Mar during the day for suntanning, a round of drinks & snacking on finger food but never at night.I'm quite impressed by the variety of dishes on the menu.During this ORTU, we were pampered with 8 of their dishes that were specially selected by Kenath Low. I've always been to Cafe del Mar during the day for suntanning, a round of drinks & snacking on finger food but never at night.

I'm quite impressed by the variety of dishes on the menu.

During this ORTU, we were pampered with 8 of their dishes that were specially selected by Kenath Low.

My favourites were the Penne Carbonara & Baked Pacific Dory.

Penne Carbonara - The salty bacon went well with the cream sauce. It was savoury, yet it wasn't "jelak" (rich).

Baked Pacific Dory - It doesn't have that fishy smell that some fish dishes have. Very fragrant due to the infused garlic butter. The dory is moist and tender. The confit cherry tomatoes & wasabi mashed are to die for!

Despite having to travel to an island off Singapore, it was worth every bite during dinner. Thank you for having me at ORTU! ^_^
