The first time I visited The Ship restaurant was at Shaw Centre; that branch has since been "gone" with the building undergoing major revamp. Quite recently, I visited The Ship for dinner again, this time at Nex @ Serangoon, also with the same girls - Jacinta* and Amelia*.This is a very interesting western restaurant with adorable interior decor resembling a ship literally - life buoys, steering wheel etc. Even the table settings are ship-like, making one feel like they're dining onboard a cruis

Even the table settings are ship-like, making one feel like they're dining onboard a cruise or ferry. The branch at Shaw Centre was even more authentic, with pale wood floorings if I recall correctly. Whether for family dinners or friends gathering, this restaurant provides the perfect atmosphere.
The Black Pepper Steak served on a sizzling hot pan was tender and succulent, and the meat was sufficiently marinated to taste good. Like any grilled steaks on hotplate, this piping hot delicacy was mouthful after mouthful of chewy goodness.
Lastly, the Seafood Plate consisting of prawns, scallops and dish, all grilled to tasty perfection , okay, maybe a tad dry, but still good enough overall.
